Karthikeya 2's Success Leaves Maverick Director Impressed

Content is the king of films and this was proven on many occasions. There are multiple occasions where big stars failed to score a hit while the few films emerged victorious at the box office battle. In June and July, Tollywood faced a dry run while Bollywood is still unable to come out of the dry run. Stars like Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar could not end the dry run.
Amid this, a small film from Tollywood Karthikeya 2 took everyone by surprise with its stunning performance at the box office. The Pan-India film had phenomenal growth in the northern belt as the theatres' count in Hindi increased largely.
Karthikeya 2 box office performance is such that it surpassed the big Bollywood films like Laal Singh Chadda and Raksha Bandhan starring Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar respectively. The theatre count shows how north audiences loved the Nikhil starrer.
As a rare honour, Karthikeya 2 received support and appreciation from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON) which spreads the ideology of lord Krishna. As the film showed what Lord Krishna taught to mankind, ISKCON is promoting the film. The teaser was launched at Vrindavan Iskcon and after the film's release, the organization congratulated the film on its stunning success.
Team Karthikeya 2 is on cloud nine with the stunning response to the film at the box office. Particularly in the northern belt, the sequel is growing only bigger and bigger with each passing day. The film is doing more than expected in the Hindi-speaking states.
To make the success even more special, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma showered massive praises on Karthikeya 2. Taking to Twitter, RGV highlighted how the film is doing well. The 'Shiva’ director even dubbed Karthikeya 2 a bigger blockbuster than successful Pan-India films RRR and K.G.F.
