'Karthikeya 2' Team Fixes On Independence Day Weekend Finally!

The much-awaited release date of 'Karthikeya 2' is finally here. The makers thought of releasing it this weekend but postponed it due to various reasons. Finally, this mystic epic adventure is hitting the big screens worldwide on 12th August. Despite Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chadda' coming out on 11th August, it is a good date as the Independence Day weekend may work out in the film's favour.
The team recently went to the ISKCON temple at Vrindavan where Lord Krishna was born and sought his blessings. The trailer impressed the audience and the romantic song too looked very endearing. There is a lot of positivity on this movie written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The promotions are going on in full swing and the team are promoting it in various languages since it is having a pan-Indian release.
Apart from arriving in Telugu, it is getting dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Nikhil Siddharth will be seen in the title role of 'Karthikeya' while heroine Anupama Parameswaran plays the role of Mugdha. Elite Bollywood actor Anupam Kher will be seen as Dhanvantari while Srinivas Reddy plays the role of Sadananda. Harsha Chemudu's role is named Suleman while Aditya Menon is going to be seen as Santanu.
This movie is produced jointly by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal. Kaala Bhairava is the music composer while Anupam Kher is playing a vital role. Vivek Kuchobotla is working on this film while Karthik Ghattamaneni is the cinematographer.
