Young Hero Nikhil Siddharth and Swathi starrer Karthikeya got mostly encouraging reviews. The suspense thriller opened well on multiplexes and it is decent in mass centers. The film also performing well in overseas BO.
Karthikeya has reportedly collected $124K in its first weekend. This film which was started with $29K on Friday increased its collections to $60K on Saturday and it managed to collect $35K on Sunday .The film provides another hit to hero Nikhil who earlier delivered decent hit Swami ra Ra.
Director Chandoo Mondeti earning applauses from tollywood and as per reports he got calls from big production houses. Actors like Sunil and Nani have expressed their wish to act with Chandoo .Karthikeya is released across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in close to 300 theaters and the screens count was increased due to heavy demand.As per trade analysts, Karthikeya is going to be safe venture for producers as well as distributors.
