'Karthikeya 2' Goes Strong Despite Completing 20 Days!

Exceeding everyone's expectations, the film is getting amazing responses all over the nation. The tight screenplay and interesting proceedings made this film get a positive talk on the first day itself and people are in awe of director Chandoo Mondeti's brilliant work. He gave a strong comeback after a failure like 'Savyasachi' and came up with a thrilling film.
It collected more than 100 crores already and it crossed the one million mark at the US box office. The film is performing exceptionally well in the Hindi market. It started off with very few shows in the North and they increased immensely within a few days. It got a lot an unexpected response all over the country and the Hindi dubbed version performed extremely well.
By the end of 20 days run at the box office, the movie got a share of 11 crores from the Nizam area and 4.4 crores from the Ceeded region. It minted 4.2 crores from Uttarandhra area and 1 crore from Nellore area. The collections in Guntur and Krishna districts are 2.3 crores and 2.1 crores respectively. Collectively, the East and West Godavari areas minted 3.7 crores. While the collections are 28.7 crores from the Telugu states, the money from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu area was 2.6 crores. The film got 10 crores from North India and 6.5 crores from overseas market. Overall, it got 47.8 crores share worldwide and it grossed 101.5 crores.
Elite Bollywood actor Anupam Kher will be seen as Dhanvantari while Srinivas Reddy plays the role of Sadananda. Harsha Chemudu's role is named Suleman while Aditya Menon played the character of Santanu. 'Karthikeya 2' is a sequel to 'Karthikeya' which came out in 2014. Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, 'Karthikeya 2' is a mystery thriller. Anupama Parameswaran is the heroine in this film. This movie is produced jointly by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal. Kaala Bhairava is the music composer. Karthik Ghattamaneni is the cinematographer.
