Trailer Talk: Dulquer's Karwan

Dulquer Salmaan entered the Malayalam film industry as the son of Malayalam star hero Mammootty. After making a mark for himself in Malayalam he started exploring other languages. His first Telugu film was 'OK Bangaram' directed by Mani Ratnam. It was a Tamil dubbed film. He has impressed everybody with Gemini Ganesan role in 'Mahanati' recently. It is a straight Telugu film for him.
Dulquer is testing his luck in Bollywood as well. He is debuting in Hindi with 'Karwan'. It is a road based film which runs on the traveling. Though road based films are common in Hindi, 'Karwan' has a novel point. Dulquer Salmaan is playing the role of a software employee named Avinash. His father dies accidentally during his Gangotri trip. When Dulquer goes there to collect his father's dead body, he finds another dead body. Cargo company guys tell him that dead bodies have been changed mistakenly. When he comes to know that his father's body was taken to Ooty, he travels from Mumbai to collect his father's body.
Dulquer hires a driver named Shauqat(Irrfan Khan) to go to Ooty. He has to meet Tanya(Mithila Palkar) to handover her father's dead body which is with him. 3 Lost souls.. 2 Dead bodies.. A journey of a lifetime is the concept of the movie. Traveling with a dead body is always a serious theme.. but director Akash Khurana made the film in a lighter vein. 'Karwan' is slated for the release on August 3.
