The Kashmir Films is a sensational hit that set the box office on fire. The Bollywood film had a humble start when it was released. But the positive mouth talk and the way the makers showed the spine-chilling exodus of Kashmiri Pandits made movie lovers fall in love with the film.

The Kashmir Files brought Bollywood director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and producer Abhishek Agarwal together. The duo hit the bull's eye with the film as the film emerged as the biggest hit this year that was made in Bollywood. The film even gave a touch competition for hit machine Akshay Kumar too.

After the sensational hit of The Kashmir Files, Abhishek Agarwal and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri have decided to take forward their collaboration. All the required agreements have been done and Abhishek Agarwal's father Tej Narayan Agarwal will present the films made in their collaboration.

Both director and producer said that, through the collaboration, they will contribute to Indic Renaissance by telling stories that are rooted in Bharat. Pallav Joshi will also join them on the journey.

Vivek Agnihotri's career can be seen before and after he started the trend of making files. His The Tashkent Files which was based on the death of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri won a national award and critical applause from the critics.

His next film The Kashmir Files is the next film that talks about the exodus of Hindu Pandits in the Kashmir valley. The film ended its theatrical run as one of the biggest films this year. The Vivek Agnihotri's directorial also attracted criticism by showing just one side of the story in the Kashmir valley. The director also announced a film on anti-Sikh riots in Delhi.
