The ongoing sensation 'The Kashmir Files' which is enjoying a golden run at the box office is also becoming the reason behind the increase in the political heat. At the time when the Bharatiya Janata Party was openly supporting the film and even asking the employees to watch the film, the Delhi government opposed it.

Finding fault with the support BJP is doing for the film, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had slammed the Centre. He even alleged that the film is fake and advised the makers to release it on YouTube instead of asking for a tax exemption.

His comments had led to a political storm and the BJP had slammed the Chief Minister over his remarks. Not just that, the BJP had held a protest and it turned violent when the protesting BJP supporters created a ruckus outside Kejriwal's residence.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who took part in an event to inaugurate the e-autos in the National Capital reacted to the ruckus created at his residence. Saying that his house was attacked yesterday, the Chief Minister said his life is not important but the country is and he is ready to sacrifice his life for the country.

Talking about the tense situation outside Kejriwal's residence, hundreds of BJP supporters have reached the location to show their protest against the objectionable comments made by Kejriwal. They asked what right Kejriwal had got to make fun of the atrocities faced by the Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir valley.

The Protest was carried out by the BJP Yuva Morcha over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's comments on The Kashmir Filed demanding an apology from him. Even the likes of Anupam Kher had slammed Kejriwal in connection with the issue. The veteran actor even dubbed Kejriwal as rude.

On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is in power in Delhi had knocked on the doors of the High court against this incident. Severely objecting to the incident, the party sought directives from the court to form a Special Investigation Team to look into the matter and submit a report on the incident. Saurabh Bhardwaj had filed the petition in court.
