Overseas Rights of 'Katamarayudu' fetched a whopping Rs 11 crore despite 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' ending up as a disaster. In fact, 'Sardaar' generated good revenue from Premieres but the momentum didn't sustain due to weak content.
As the posters and teaser of 'Katamarayudu' were impressive, There is enormous craze for this Pawan Kalyan-starrer. But, Can the USA Distributor and Exhibitors make profits? 'Khaidi No.150' proved NRIs are willing the watch commercial entertainers if the content is good enough. So, 'Katamarayudu' can be a profitable venture if it lives up to the expectations. As per initial estimates, $2.5 Million Gross is the benchmark to be in the safe zone.
