Bollywood is slowly giving more and more importance to method acting in their craft and many actors and actresses are trying hard to impersonate several famous people from various paths of lives in their roles, so that they won't look funny on screen. Katrina too for her journalist role in Jagga Jasoos tried to go method for her journalist role in the movie.
The Anurag Basu directorial, has been long in making and finally it is hitting the theatres this July. Katrina and Ranbir have fallen in and out of love during the making and now they have owed to work with each other again. We all know how, Ranbir looks to prepare for his roles and loves the process. But when we heard that even Kat aka Katrina decided to go method, we were quite shocked and impressed actually.
An insider from the team revealed to a daily that Katrina spent more than 100 hrs of watching news channels and various journalists way of presenting the news. She even met many highly classified and popular journalists to understand how they approach a news and how they present it.
Well even Katrina shared the same. She said, " The beauty of being an actor is that I get to play different characters. Each character has its own graph and needs some amount of preparation and that's what's exciting and challenging too." A welcome change in the approach of the actors, we must say!
