Satire on GST in yet another Movie

Already, Vijay-starrer 'Mersal' is in news for drawing comparisons between the GST Tax Slabs of India and Singapore. Now, One more Tamil Film made fun of the Goods and Service Tax.

In the film 'Kee', Actor and Radio Jockey Balaji's character narrates what happened when two friends go to eat dinner at a restaurant. 'If you and me go to a hotel for having dinner, bill will be so high that it appears like two more people have dined with us. Who are those two extras? GST...It makes our stomach burn,' he jokes.

Team Kee released the promo online after BJP demanded chopping off of satire on GST in 'Mersal'. RJ Balaji says they had reacted that way to send a strong message - 'If you try to stop one film, Many other films would speak about facts. Neither we are scared nor we stop expressing our views'.
