Keerthy Suresh Agrees To Turn Chiranjeevi's Starrer

Megastar Chiranjeevi has lined up a series of multi-starrers. Once he is done with Acharya, Chiranjeevi will be working on the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit Lucifer. The project is tentatively titled Chiru153 and the makers are said to have locked Godfather as the title of the film. Mohan Raja will be directing the film. Post Lucifer remake, Chiranjeevi will work with Bobby for the Telugu remake of another Malayalam film, Driving License. Also, Chiranjeevi has lined up a project with Meher Ramesh. The duo will be working on the Telugu remake of Vedhalam, an Ajith starrer.
Here is an interesting update on the Telugu remake of Vedhalam, which will mark the coming together of Chiranjeevi and Meher Ramesh. Apparently, the makers of this project have locked Keerthy Suresh for the female lead role in the film. She will be seen as Chiranjeevi's sister in the film. It is heard that Keerthy Suresh has signed the dotted line already and she will be joining the sets of the project right from the first schedule. This will be her maiden collaboration with Chiranjeevi.
Initially, the makers wanted to bring in Sai Pallavi for the role of Chiranjeevi's sister in the film but that did not materialize for some undisclosed reasons. The makers then came up with an alternative plan and they approached Keerthy Suresh for the important role. Keerthy Suresh was a tad hesitant at first but she eventually came on board for the project. Meher Ramesh always felt Keerthy would be the right fit for the role and he finally got it to happen as the actress agreed to come on board for the project.
It is heard that Chiranjeevi plans to officially announce the Telugu remake of Lucifer on the occasion of his birthday, 22nd August. AK Entertainments will be bankrolling the project and more details about the lead cast and crew will be out in the next few weeks. Meher Ramesh has locked the script for the project and he is currently finalizing the principal cast and crew. It is known that barring two songs, the entire shoot of Chiranjeevi's immediate next release, Acharya is complete.
