She Did Not Want To Put On Weight

For films, actors and actresses have to go through a lot. We like them to have right proportionate bodies and for that they go through hell.
At times, they get these films they are asked to bulk up. Some remain in that shape and struggle to get back to old look like Anushka Shetty and some transform easily.
Some actresses out of fear, walk out of such projects while few show courage. Keerthy Suresh got a life time opportunity to play the role of Savitri, legendary actress in Mahanati.
Director, Naga Ashwin asked her to put on little more weight to look like Savitri on screen. She refused to that first.
She said, "I did not want to put om more weight as that will kill the opportunities. But I did not intervene into the creative space of the director too much. After he explained why, I did the needful."
Well, playing Savitri is not easy and we have to wait and see, how she pulled it off on-screen. Mahanati is releasing on 9th May.
