Who Suggested Keerthy For Mahanati?

'Mahanati' is one of the crazy biopics of Telugu film industry and audience are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. It is known that 'Mahanati' makers recently conducted a grand audio function in the presence of entire star cast.. and guests Jr NTR, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nani. The audio is getting good applause from the music lovers.

Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh who played the titular role in the film revealed an interesting fact behind 'Mahanati' film. She said "I don't know about 'Mahanati' project at all. One day Nani and I were having a chat and he told me about the project. He told me that I would suit for Savitri role. Then I started thinking about the film. It was Nani who suggested my name to them."

Keerthy also revealed that she took nearly a month time to take a decision on accepting the film. She said that "Nani and Swapna came to me and asked for Savitri role. I said 'no' immediately. But I got confidence that I can do the role after speaking with director Nagi."
