Actress Keerthy Suresh had a scary experience due to the floods in Chennai city and what you see in the picture is the situation in her house. Water has come from all directions and rose up to the thigh level. People in the house were moving from one room to the other to protect important things. That's when there is a power cut and lucky Inverter helped them use lights for some time. They collected some food, clothes and whatever is possible to the upstairs. The family members were stranded for two days and it looked like they were on an island.
The family of the Keerthy Suresh faced enough issues because her grandmother was supposed to undergo a surgery at the MIOT Hospital the very next day. But the operation has been called off as water has flooded in the generator room. Keerthy Suresh's mother who stayed in the hospital to look after her grandmother don't have food for two days. The hospital management could only provide 5 biscuits and two glasses of milk to her grandmother. The two women decided to walk out of the hospital and they dared to walk on road when the water was chest level to reach Porur junction. From there, They took a taxi to reach their neighbor's place.
Luckily, The surgery was cancelled as the very next day 18 patients have died in MIOT Hospital due to power failure.
