Keerthy Suresh's Miss India Is An Inspired Story?
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Nov 2020 8:48 AM GMTKeerthy Suresh's Miss India released on Netflix on November 4. Helmed by Y Narendranath, the film revolves around a young woman Samyuktha who is convinced that she is born to do business.
The film is about a tea-loving girl, who is armed with the easiest-earned MBA degree from a San Francisco college, wants to spread the benefits of Indian chai amongst coffee-loving Americans.
Although the makers didn't claim it to be a real story, the film is indeed inspired by an American entrepreneur Brook Eddy, who sells Indian tea recipe under the name of Bhakti Chai.
During her visit to North India, Eddy fell in love with Indian chai and wanted to start her own tea business in the US where there were not many tea shops. However, the makers added some masala items to the inspired story but it failed to impress the audience.
