Pataas turns out to be a dud there

'Pataas' was a super hit in Telugu. The success of 'Pataas' was huge relief to hero Nandamuri Kalyan Ram because he scored a hit after log gap. Kalyan Ram received apreciation for his performance as a police officer in the film. Not only that.. director Anil Ravipudi got very good break with his debut film Pataas.
Surprisingly, 'Pataas' turned out to be a huge disaster in Tamil. Raghava Lawrence remade 'Pataas' into Tamil with the title 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva'. Lawrence played the role of Kalyan Ram and Satya Raj reprised the role Sai Kumar. Nikki Galrani played the journalist role.. as a heroine she doesn't have much importance except for the songs. There is an item number of Raai Laxmi in the film.
But all these attractions couldn't save the film from sinking at the box office. 'Motta Siva Ketta Siva' released on this Friday and the trade analysts have declared it as a huge disaster. It is really surprising to see a super hit like 'Pataas' in Telugu turning out to be a huge disaster in Tamil.
