KGF 2 clash with Beast: Yash comments

It is confirmed that Thalapathy Vijay's Beast will clash with the mighty KGF 2 which is up for theatrical release on the 14th of April. While Beast releases on 13th April, KGF 2 arrives a day later, April 14. This interesting box office clash between these two biggies has been the most talked about topic on social media for the past few days. South trade analysts have been analysing that Beast is obviously super strong in the Tamil market while KGF has the advantage in every other major market.
The other day, the grand trailer launch event of KGF 2 was held in Bengaluru and the event was a gala affair. It was graced by the likes of Karan Johar and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with the principal cast and crew. Yash also took part in the event and he made a very interesting comment at the same.
"There is no such thing as a direct box office clash between KGF 2 and Beast. We are releasing two films almost simultaneously and that is very common. That doesn't mean our films are clashing. This is not politics to clash with one another. We are making films and these are to be celebrated on the big screens." Yash commented.
Yash went on to say that it is not right for critics and analyzers to project a clash between our films. "Vijay sir has achieved so much in his career. His upcoming film Beast is releasing in theatres a day ahead of ours. I wholeheartedly wish him the very best on the big day. I hope both our films fare well at the box office as they are due for release this summer." Yash added.
The star hero went on to say that he is confident that both Beast and KGF 2 will cater to the requirements of the Indian audiences and go on to become big hits at the box office. "KGF is not just my film. It is more of Prashanth's film as well. It is his vision and execution that made KGF 2 possible. I will be forever indebted to him for making me a part of this film.
