KGF Fans Doing Hulchul On Social Media

Hadn't it been for the Covid second wave, KGF 2 would have hit the silver screens today - 16th July. The makers of the Yash starrer had recently stated that they will be announcing the new release date of the film very soon. Reports suggest that the Prashanth Neel directorial might hit the silver screens across the globe this Christmas season. There is no official update in this regard yet.
Now, KGF fans are doing hulchul on social media. They are speaking high of the film, saying it would have set the box office on fire had it hit the big screens today. Well, they do have a point. KGF 2 is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The stakes are exceptionally high on the big-budget action thriller. But KGF fans seem to be a tad too over enthusiastic while speaking about the film.
It is too early to speak about the box office prospects of any new releases, given the financial recession pertaining to Covid pandemic. We need to wait till an A-lister project hits the big screens to identify the actual amount of footfalls at cinema halls. So, KGF fans should wait and assess before making tall claims. They need to tone down a bit, said a cine and trade observer.
KGF 2 is riding high on buzz and it is carrying humongous expectations. The film stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Raveena Tandon, and others in important roles. Hombale Films are producing the film on a magnanimous budget. The release date announcement is long awaited.

While Prashanth is busy with Prabhas's Salaar which is in early stages of production, Yash is working on his immediate next project after KGF 2. He is in talks with a couple of Kannada filmmakers. Not so long ago, it was said that Boyapati Sreenu is preparing a script for Yash. We need to wait and see if this project will materialize.
