Khushbu Sundar Stands In Solidarity With Vijay Sethupathi

Ever since Vijay Sethupathi stepped into the Muthiah Muralitharan's biopic 800, many of the angry Tamilians had started abusing the actor and even issuing threats his family, including his young daughter.
Now, actor-politician Khushbu Sundar has reacted to the social media threats on Vijay's family. She took to Twitter and called them barbaric. She expressed solidarity with the actor and commended him for opting out of the controversial project.
"Dear @VijaySethuOffl You are a strong person, stay as you are. Threat to your family members was barbaric and should be investigated. The culprit must be traced and punished severely. It takes a big heart to do what you have done. We stand with you in solidarity. Hugs and love," Khushbu tweeted.
The biopic titled 800 was announced last week and quickly landed into a controversy as many political parties argued that Muralitharan had made statements that were against the cause of Sri Lankan Tamils.
