Kissa Kallaas: Aagadu Touches 1 Million

Mahesh babu Mania is at the peak. Never in the career so far, audience and exhibitors in overseas have seen such craze for a film like what they are seeing for Aaagdu.
As per the trade reports, Aagadu collected $533K from Thursday premieres and $391K from Friday shows. These are the collections from the reported screens only. Altogether, Aagadu has crossed 1 million mark within no time. With few more screens to be added this number is expected to cross the Million mark, according to trade.
Producer Anil Sunkara shared the news on his micro-blogging page, "Almost 1 million USD by end of day 1. Many screens to report yet. AAGADU on d way to create history in INDIAN CINEMA in US. KISSA KALLAAS." He further wrote, "AAGADU becomes the first movie to cross 1M mark by end of first day(including premiers on thursday)"
All the shows for the first 3 days in USA are heard to have been sold out already much in advance. So the negative talk that started wont show any effect on the Box Office potential of the Mahesh starrer.
If estimates are anything to go by then the opening weekend figures should be in the range of $2.5 Million.If the trend continued in same way Records made by 'Dookudu' and 'Gabbar Singh' and AD in their total run will be washed away in a week by Aagadu
