Anushka Shetty after Bhagamathie release in 2018, took break from films to concentrate on her fitness. After one and half year, she returned to films with slightly slim frame.
She accepted Nishabdam, a year back when Kona Venkat pitched her the idea but she wanted time to look better on screen as she grew too chubby.
The film team brought in Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Madhavan on board later as Hemanth Madhukar added new elements to the script from his original draft.
Anushka took some training on playing deaf & dumb girl for the film. Anjali is playing an investigator based in US.
Movie release date has been fixed as 31st January and it will be complete 2 years of absence for Anushka from any big screen action.
Her film will have to compete with Nithiin's Bheeshma, Ravi Teja's Disco Raja and Vijay Devarakonda's World Famous Lover at the theatres. Can the movie have such run at the box office to fight these films or will it just fade away in the competition? Let's wait and see.
