Sri Reddy accused Kona Venkat of sexually exploiting her at his Guest House in Jubilee Hills Road No.12. She even revealed about her plans to file a police complaint against the Star Writer.
Claiming that he is shocked with some allegations made by one actress against some film personalities including him, Kona Venkat demanded Government to conduct a thorough probe and punish whoever are guilty. 'This is unacceptable. I condemn it. Truth Must Prevail. Legal Action Follows!!,' he said.
Kona Venkat told he really pity as Film Industry and Film Personalities have become a soft target to many people who wish to garner cheap publicity. He claims to be someone who strongly supports casting of Telugu artists in the movies made in Tollywood. He even points out 'Geethanjali' for which he offered the script only have Telugu Artists.
Though he condemned the rape allegation, Kona Venkat didn't deny inviting Sri Reddy to his guest house so far. What does that mean?
