Mahesh's Director condemns Copy Cat allegations

Novelist Sarath Chandra complained to Telugu Film Writers Association and also moved the court accusing 'Srimanthudu' Makers of lifting the central plot from his novel 'Chachentha Prema'. The Court even issued notices to 'Srimanthudu' Director and Producers regarding this issue.
Koratala Shiva denies using the idea of Mr.Sarath Chandra for 'Srimanthudu'. At the same time, He refused to elaborate as the matter is in the court but expresses confidence over receiving a favourable decision.
Paruchuri Gopalakrishna who is the member of Writers Association remained tightlipped on the issue as sharing his views will become contempt of court. He, however, informs the Association will offer its opinion if court asks them about it.
The plot of 'Srimanthudu' is based on PM Narendra Modi's adoption of villages. Interestingly, There is no mention about the word 'Adoption' in Sarath Chandra's novel.
