Kota As 'Bodhimpu' Narayana In An Ad Film!

We see senior actors like Murali Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, director-actor K.Viswanath, singer-voice actor SP Balasubramanyam in local Swagruha foods or some other builders and infrastructure ads mostly.

But such senior talent in a multi-national brand ads? We seldom see such discretion from the Hindi dominated ad filmmakers.

They rope in a Tamil known actor or dub with Hindi actor in most of the ads rather than replacing them with Telugu seniors.

Sprite did try the new thing by roping in Kota Srinivasa Rao in their Telugu ad, as the person who gives a lecture aka 'Bodhimpu'Narayana.

The ad film gave a pleasant surprise to many and in Hindi, Pankaj Kapoor did the elderly man, Gyaan's role.

With Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu and many other young actors getting these big brand endorsements, a senior actor too appearing in such ads, says alot about changing perception, towards South market.

With Telugu market being the biggest consumer demographic after Hindi dominated states, it is time that the big brands give the consumers, their due respect by roping people they can identify and connect.

Hoping this starts a new trend, all we can say is, "Yeh Dil Maange More ..Aha (Heart yearns for more like this)"!
