Despite opening with average reviews and no so positive word of mouth, Allu Sirish and Regina starrer 'Kotha Janta' managed to enter profit zone by the end of Week 1. Thanks to the brand value of Maruthi and Geetha Arts! This so-called selfish love story of two individuals earned Rs 4.19 crore in AP and Rs 4.5 crore Worldwide in 7 days.
Kotha Janta:
Budget - Rs 5.5 crore; Prints, Publicity & Promotions - Rs 75 lakhs.
Theatrical Revenue - Rs 4.5 crore (still counting); Satellite Rights - Rs 2 crore.
Except in Vizag, Krishna, Guntur and Nellore, 'Kotha Janta' was released by Geetha Arts on its own. Producer are already in a safe zone and will surely earn profits by the end of full run. Even the distributors and exhibitors of 'Kotha Janta' could be making profits soon.

Ceeded - Rs 57 lakhs
Uttar Andhra - Rs 70 lakhs
Krishna - Rs 35 lakhs
