PSPK 27: Can Krish Do Justice For Such A high-budget Flick?
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 March 2020 12:10 PM GMTit is known that Pawan Kalyan is simultaneously working on 'Vakeel Saab' as well as Krish's periodic project. News is that Krish recently filmed a special song between Pawan, hot anchor Anasuya and the crew in a lavishly built set. The makers are reportedly satisfied with the song's output.
Set in the backdrop of the Mughal era, the film is being made on a massive budget of 200 crores. It may even mount up to 250 crores by the end of production. The real question here is whether Pawan has the capacity to pull off such a huge film all on his own or not. Pawan's craze is unmatchable in Telugu states and in Karnataka to some extent. But he definitely lacks a pan-Indian appeal. So, investing such high budgets on him is definitely a risk as per experts.
On the other hand, Krish is running through a rough patch as his last outings like 'NTR-Mahanayakudu' and 'NTR-Kathanayakudu' turned out to be outright disasters. Even walked out from Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika' in the middle which earned him a bad reputation. Right from the beginning of his career, Krish was never interested in commercial aspects as he mostly made content-driven films. But films involving such high budgets need to be commercially viable to enter a safe zone. Also, we need to see if Pawan Kalyan can give enough time for this film or not as the hero's trust and belief is a major boost for any director. So, a humongous task is in front of this talented director and let us see if he comes out with flying colors or not.
