Khaidi Vs GPSK was blessing in disguise : Krish

Whenever there is a competition of star hero films at the box office, there is a general opinion that one movie will eat away the share of other film. But this Sankranthi witnessed fight of two biggies Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No.150 & Balakrishna's Gautami Putra Satakarni.
Surprisingly both films turned out to be biggest hits of their respective careers. This appears to defy the general logic that competition will eat away the collections of other hero film.
When the same question is posed to Krish, he tried to analyze the phenomenon. He said "Even though there is competition, I and Balayya garu made it a point to speak good about Khaidi No. 150 in our interviews. Similarly Chiranjeevi garu did the same for GPSK. In fact the competition of both these landmark films garnered much publicity and it came as a blessing in disguise. If these films would have released separetely they could not have got his kind of
publicity".
As Balayya said on one of his promotinal interviews.. healthy competition is always good. It's high time that other star heroes should follow what Chiru & Balayya did. It will try to diffuse the tensions between the fans & and decrease ugly fan wars in the social media.
