What inspired Krish to make Kanche?
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Sep 2015 9:04 AM GMT'Kanche' is the first Indian film to have a Second World War backdrop. What are those aspects which inspired Krish to do the unbelievable?
During the making of 'Vedam', Allu Arjun and Krish happened to visit the Navy Museum in Visakhapatnam. It was then they saw an inactive bomb dropped on a ship carrying 2,000 tonnes of ammunition in Bay of Bengal off the Vizag Coast on April 6th, 1942.
It was while shooting for the Tamil version of 'Vedam', Krish visited another such Museum in Tamil Nadu's Karaikudi and realised that 24,000 out of 25 lakh Indian soldiers who took part in World War 2 got killed.
Apparently, All these facts have inspired Krish to make a film like 'Kanche' inspite of being aware of the fact that its never easy to create history. Finally, The end result will be known on October 2nd.
