Krishna Vamsi, once upon a time, he used to be the major pull for the crowds in Telugu Cinema. But he lost it over the last decade with the movies that did not stand up to his potential in any standards. Even during his low time, he got a chance to make a movie with popular star like Ram Charan, but the director did not utilise the opportunity. After that movie, it took him more than two years to come up with Nakshatram, starring Sandeep Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Regina Cassandra and Sai Dharam Tej.
If the movie is coming out now, at least that's because of the actors who accepted to work free of cost. Krishna Vamsi revealed their names and thanked them as well. Krishna Vamsi revealed, " The movie has gone over budget by 30% than what I said to producers. I brought in actors like Prakash Raj, Sai Dharam Tej, Sivaji Raja, Raghu Babu, J.D. Chakravarthy, Tanish without giving them any remuneration. For few I requested and for few I threatened. As he is my close friend I spoke in a authoritative way with Prakash Raj and asked him, will you come to shoot or not? I don't anything to pay! He said, I am coming and he came to shoot from next day.
" Sai Dharam Tej said why should we talk about money and he came to shoot as many days I requested him and he did not ask me even a single penny. Even I did not take remuneration. The Sri Chakra banner you're seeing on the posters is mine and due to demonetisation we had to face lot of difficulties in the middle of the shoot." Well, Krishna Vamsi seems to have put in his money too in the movie! Let's see what he did with the story and screenplay!
