Hanu Raghavapudi left a mark of his own with 'Andala Rakshasi' inspite of its Box Office failure. What lacked in the film is Entertainment!! This time, Hanu opted for an wholesome entertainer & succeeded in roping a promising talent like Nani to play the lead. Since the day Teaser was launched, 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' raised curiosity and the positive buzz only multiplied by the time it is ready for release.

Synopsis:

Out of fear, They hide their love & behave as if they don't like one another. That's when Family Members take a decision on Mahalakshmi's marriage. Just when Krishna is planning to reveal everything, Ramaraju seeks a help from him and promises that his sister will be married to him in return. Why a Factionist sought a Coward's help? Did Krishna accomplish the mission successfully?

Performances:

Nani carries the whole film on his shoulders with subtle acting and generated humor every time when there is a scope for it. His Comedy as a coward and Emotional Performance in the Climax will stand out. The Director, however, failed to use Nani's potential to the fullest in the second half.

Debutante actress Mehreen looks a bit chubby but performs really well. Sampath Raj does justice to his role. Brahmaji & Pruthvi tickle the funny bone. Even Rajesh generates a few laughs. Harish Uthaman was presented differently. Murali Sharma is alright. The three kids were aptly cast.

Pros:

Nani's Terrific Acting

Camera Work

Dialogues

Direction

Cons:

Screenplay

Second Half

Technicalities:

Hanu Raghavapudi obtained good output from his Technicians one more time. Compositions of Vishal Chandrasekhar are refreshing. Using 'Nuvvante Naa Pranam' tune for background score is a right choice. Yuvraj's Cinematography is yet another highlight and the whole film have a vibrant look. Dialogues by Hanu & Jai Krishna were touching. Grand Production Values of 14 Reels made even a small flick look bigger. Hanu Raghavapudi chose a commercial entertainer yet left a mark of his own with the way he presented the product. 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' is a director's film and there is no doubt about it.

Analysis:

Nani has got the knack of mesmerizing audience with his impeccable performance in boy-next-door roles. When he ends up bagging a role which is unique and have scope for performance, One needn't explain how he excels. After films such as 'Yevade Subrahmanyam' & 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy', He comes out with flying colors yet again in the form of 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha'.

The role of Protagonist is the major selling point of 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' and good amount of humor is being generated using the typical character. Hanu Raghavapudi tried to entertain using the timid role of Nani in a serious subject. While the First Half focusses on the love story of lead pair, An interesting twist in Interval Block doubles the impact. In particular, The police station sequence involving Brahmaji is hilarious.

On the flip side, Confusing Screenplay and Few unwanted scenes in the Second Half play the spoilers. Even the fun element in Nani's character drops here and he gets sidelined by other characters. Though there weren't any outright boring moments in the latter half, There is no rib-tickling comedy either. The pre-climax and climax were dragged a bit.

Bottom Line:
An Epic Love Story with few Shortcomings!
