In what could be a big blow to the Tollywood film industry, veteran actor-producer Krishnam Raju breathed his last during the early hours of Sunday at a private hospital. Ever since the news broke out, condolence messages have been pouring in from various corners. The Tollywood film industry is mourning his demise.
The press release from the doctors on Krishnam Raju's demise shed light on his health condition and how he has been fighting the health issues for a long time. The doctors said Krishnam Raju was suffering from severe Pneumonia and he also had heart rhythm disturbances.
The heart and Lungs are crucial organs to run a body and having big issues with the organs is not a good thing. Moreover, his Kidney was also not performing well and he was placed on ventilator support after he was admitted to the hospital, the doctors said.
It is known that Krishnam Raju is not keeping well for some time. He underwent surgery for his health last year. However, catching Covid worsened his health largely as the pandemic affects the lungs. Moreover, he caught Covid twice. Hen reportedly suffered big time with post-Covid-issues.
"He has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria and fungal organisms, severe infective bronchitis. He had heart rhythm disturbances during the hospital stay and worsening of kidney function. He was managed on ventilator support since admission," the AIG Hospitals that treated Krishnam Raju said in the press release.
Given his critical health condition and multiple issues, a team of specialist doctors was assigned to take care of Krishnam Raju. Sadly, the efforts made by the specialist doctors could not save Krishnam Raju and he breathed his last.
The conditions mentioned by the doctors say Krishnam Raju has been suffering from health issues for some time and the health issues are serious ones. The rebel star's age also played a big role as he is over 80. He breathed his last earlier today due to a cardiac arrest.
