KS Ravikumar admits Lingaa's biggest mistake!

During the flashback episode (set in the year 1939) of 'Lingaa', Rajinikanth's Character Lingeswaran is seen reading the book 'The Hero With A Thousand Faces' by Joseph Campbell. However, This particular book was actually published in the year 1949 only.
When asked about it, KS Ravikumar says he assigned his team the job of finding a book with the word 'hero' on the cover to elevate the heroism. It was Production Designer Sabu Cyril who brought the book which drew criticism. By the time the shoot was about to begin, KS Ravikumar's Assistants realised this book wasn't of the said period but didn't convey it to the director as the shoot gets delayed.
Only after the release of 'Lingaa', KS Ravikumar realised the flaw and admits it is his mistake even though it was committed by his team.
