Lack Of Promotions Seriously Damaging SK's 'Prince'!
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Oct 2022 4:58 PM GMTTamil hero Siva Karthikeyan has gained a good name among the Telugu audience through his entertaining and interesting movies like 'Remo', 'Doctor' and 'Don'. People liked his natural acting and screen presence. He is arriving this weekend with 'Prince' which is made under Anudeep KV's direction. But how many of you know this?
The makers seem to be not bothered at all about the promotions. This romantic comedy is releasing on 21st October which means that there is only three days left but we still haven't seen a single promotional event or interview in Telugu. As it is known, Anudeep has a good craze among the youngsters and his 'Jathiratnalu' was a blockbuster. He is making this bilingual with Siva Karthikeyan and Thaman is the music composer. With such big names, the film should be having a lot of buzz.
But the team is not at all focusing on the publicity and it may have a huge effect on the film's collections. There is already a huge competition on 21st October with movies like 'Ori Devuda', 'Ginna' and 'Sardar' hitting the screens. While the others are busy with their promotional campaigns, 'Prince' team is not even making an effort which is surprising to many.
Insiders claim that it is clearly a lack of planning which caused this mishap. A lot of overseas audience are reportedly not even aware of the fact that 'Prince' is releasing on 21st October. Same is the situation in the Telugu states too. As Siva Karthikeyan is a star in Tamil Nadu, his craze might be enough to pull the crowds into theatres but it is not the case in Telugu states. SK is yet to create a strong market for himself and his movies need aggressive promotions to reach the audience. But the big banners who bankrolled this project are not showing any kind of interest in this film. There is zero noise about this film and some are even wondering if the lack of quality content is the reason behind this low-key release without promotions. Only time will tell what happens with 'Prince'.
Maria Ryaboshapka is the female lead in this movie. Suniel Narang, along with D. Suresh Babu and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing the movie under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies. Sonali Narang is presenting the movie. Praveen KL is the editor and Arun Viswa is the co-producer. S. Thaman is the music director, while Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer. Sathyaraj plays a key role in this flick.
