Lagadapati buys rights of Samantha film

Lagadapati Sridhar (Lagadapati Rajagopal's Brother) is aiming big this time. He acquired the theatrical rights of Suriya and Samantha starrer 'Anjaan' which is being directed by Lingusamy who delivered hits like Run, Pandem Kodi and Awara.
'Anjaan' is carrying huge positive buzz because of the crazy combination of Sauriya-Sam-Lingusamy and hence the rights of all the territories except Tamilnadu have been sold-out even before the audio launch. The Makers, however, wishes to kickstart the area wise business in Tamilnadu only after the audio launch.
'Sikandar' is the title under consideration for 'Anjaan'. Suriya will be seen in the role of gangster in the movie. Samantha's glamorous makeover is an added attraction. The film is aimed for release on August 15th and it will be clashing with Telugu biggie 'Rabhasa' starring NTR.
