Raai Laxmi entered Telugu Film Industry as a teen at the age of 15-16 years. She had to face the criticism that she looks matured for her age and like an aunty too.
She had to work hard on her looks to change the impression built by the first film, Kanchanamala Cable TV, to try her luck in Telugu, Kannada (her mother tongue) and Tamil, Hindi.
She never had any problems in wearing skimpy clothes and showing off skin in the films, but she couldn't become a Kajal or Tamannah.
In Tamil, she got a name for her looks and special songs. She carried on to star in some B-Grade Horror films and did a B-Grade Hindi film, Julie-2 as well.
