Lakshmi's NTR film did touch the nerve of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his family along with Nandamuri family. Balakrishna decided to not react as his own issues have piled up on him.

Now, three theatres in Kadapa got seized as they screened shows of the film even though Election Commission infused Ban on the film.
One theatre in Railway Koduru also lost their license. While theatre managements are furious regarding this step, government has made it clear that Theatres violated the law.
The movie which was panned by critics as another lame film by RGV seems to create more interest and political stir than required because of TDP led government in Andhra Pradesh.
