Lawrence's Debut Hindi Project Opts Direct Digital Release

Talented filmmakers and actor Raghava Lawrence is making his Hindi directorial debut with Laxmmi Bomb starring Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. Lawrence made this film based on the story of his 2011 release Kanchana.
As of now, the film completed it's shooting and VFX works, and only the dubbing and BGM works are pending in the list. Post production work was halted due to the ongoing lockdown.
We know that theatres are indefinitely closed and no one is sure when they will be opened again. The analysts believe that they will be opened in a couple of months, maybe in August. Even after they opened, it takes at least a six month time to regain the original form. In this point, the makers are looking towards the OTT giants to get out of the crisis with some profits.
Now the Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb is also thinking the same. At first, they resisted to for a direct OTT release and wanted a direct release on big screens. But the latest updates say that the makers have almost inked a deal with the OTT platform to release the film in June.
