Leading OTT Platform Amazon Prime launches new service to offer free content!

The OTT platforms got a major boost up since nationwide lockdown came into existence. With the lockdown being in affect in several states in India, theatres were shut.This in turn resulted in consumers sticking to OTT platforms for entertainment.

A lot of OTT viewership comes with a lot of competition. Amazon Prime Video, leading OTT platform in India announced a new service to increase its viewership.

Amazon miniTV was launched by Amazon Prime, with an aim to enable consumers stream YouTube Content with out any charge. For this, Amazon has joined hands with Content creation pages and Content creators.Cooking videos of famous chefs will also be streamed on Amazon miniTV. The Android version of miniTV app is available on Amazon's shopping app.The iOS version is expected to be launched soon.

The service comes in line with Amazon's goal to offer customers a wide range of services like shopping, entertainment and other payment making services.

miniTV is a free service. However, the users should hold Amazon account. The content in the service will be segregated according to certain sections.
