Legendary Lyricist's Shocking Comments

Songs became a major part in movies. Whatever the genre is, having 6 songs have become a basic template for the Indian movies. But, from the past few years, the trend is changing.
Some movies are having two to three songs whereas some other movies are having no songs at all. When all the singers, lyricists etc are commenting that songs should be there in the films legendary lyricist Sirivennela Sitaramasastry has a different opinion. Sirivennela who got rewarded with a Padma Shri chatted with the media and stated that the audience' tastes are changing and they are not showing interest in songs these days. "The audience is going out of the theatres whenever a song comes. They feel like the songs are deviating." Said Sirivennela.
"I feel like I should tell the producers that they can reduce their budget by removing the songs in the film" added Sirivennela. He commented that no good songs are coming out these days.
