Less Screentime & Remuneration For Shruti Haasan

The makers of Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab have roped Shruti Haasan at a last moment of the shooting. Though her role is said to be the main female lead, the reports suggest that Shruti will be seen as a guest appearance in the flashback scenes.
Due to the pandemic and lockdown, the shooting was stalled for a long time affecting the hectic schedules of the actors. As per reports, Dil Raju tried hard to bring both the lead pair to the sets. However, the Gabbar Singh actor asked Dil Raju to complete the schedules quickly all the call sheets were scattered due to the break.
As per reports, keeping Pawan's busy schedule in consideration, the producer has removed a dance number between Pawan and Shruti and thus the screentime of the actress is reduced. Moreover, it is learned that Dil Raju has also reduced Shruti Haasan's remuneration to that extent. It is heard that the pay was settled to the actress after a reduction of nearly Rs 20 lakh.
Vakeel Saab is directed by Venu Sriram and bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. It also stars Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya in pivotal roles.
