List of Telugu Films competing for National Awards

About 20 Telugu Films are in race for 61st National Film Awards. Out of 310 Films selected across the Nation, 20 belonged to the Telugu Film Industry and this is really sad to hear as Tollywood stands only next to Hindi and Tamil when it comes to the number of films made in an year.
Popular films like Atharintiki Daredi, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Mirchi, Uyyala Jampala, Prema Katha Chitram, Anthaku Mundu Aa Taruvatha, Minugurulu and Basanthi have been testing their this time.
Some of the lesser known films like O Malli, Adbhutha Cine Rangam, Naa Bangaru Thalli, Parampara, The Clue and Yugmali have also been in the race.
The jury will announce the winners of 61st National Film Awards. The Awards Ceremony would be held on May 3rd this year.
