Loukyam 1st Week Collections: Ends Gopi's lean patch!

Finally, Gopichand has scored a decent hit after 6 years. His last success came in the year 2008 (Souryam) and ever since then all of his films including 'Sankham', 'Golimaar', 'Wanted' and 'Mogudu' have bitten dust. Of course, 'Sahasam' which happens to be his last release was an average.
'Loukyam' collected a good share of Rs 9.9 crore in its first week to emerge a successful film. Comedy Quotient in the film has been appreciated by the movie lovers from Day 1 and it could have collected more had if it's release was planned better by the makers.
