'What The F' Song sung by Vijay Devarakonda stirred a controversy. Lyrics of this track, particularly using references of Seetha Devi and Savitri, has hurt the sentiments of a section of people. The song was already removed from YouTube last night.
Controversy is over the Lyric - 'Ramudu Gani Ippudu Putti Jungelki Podam Ra Ramante Sitaku Kaastha Siraku Lesi Sologane Pommantade Yemapasam Tho Yamude Vachi Nee Penimiti Praanam Theesnamante'.
Lyricist Shreemani who penned 'What The F' song offered his explanation over the objectionable lyrics. 'News of 'What The F' lyrics hurting few people came to our notice. Our intention was misunderstood...we didn't intend to hurt anyone. Still, Respecting the sentiments of people is our first priority. So, We decided to remove the objectionable lyrics in the song and upload the modified version on YouTube soon,' he informed.
'Geetha Govindham' is scheduled to release on August 15th this year. It is expected to set the cash registers on fire after the trailer garnered positive response.
