2018, is ending in few more days. The year has seen Telugu Cinema shining with some popular hits and also saw, producers daring to take new steps.
But this year also has been the most controversial year for 'MAA' and most shameful too. Movie Artists Association of Telugu Industry had to face a person like Sri Reddy and many women coming forward about the exploitation.
Sri Reddy fiasco cost the association a good name in public and Sivaji Raja, the President of MAA had to face lot of flack for the action he took and reactions of his in front of media.
Once, he could see past it and organise fund raising event in USA with Megastar Chiranjeevi, many appreciated the effort but also asked about the financial deals and details.
As the President and his supporters stayed mum, senior actor Naresh took the issue public and this again made Telugu Industry look like a circus run by people who have no idea about transparency and good management.
Well, this propelled futher when another fund raising event got postponed. Now, MAA announced that they will do the event during New Year's and will build the new office for MAA.
They announced it at an event in Apollo Hospital where Krishna - Vijaya Nirmala and Krishnam Raju - Shyamala couples have inaugurated the yearly diary of MAA for 2019.
We hope they will be able to keep all the controversies behind and move ahead with head held high
