Maanaadu producer slams Film Exhibitors

Maanaadu film starring TR Silambarasan aka Simbu and Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Surya, written and directed by Ajith's Mankatha/Gambler fame Venkat Prabhu completed 75 days in theatres. Movie is available on OTT platforms for worldwide audiences.
It is still generating good number of collections say fans of the actor but the producer Suresh Kamatchi expressed his unhappiness with the film exhibitors.
He described them as unethical people who have stopped reporting numbers that the film is generating theatrically to him. He said that if a film like Maanaadu gets this kind of treatment then exhibitors cannot question producers going for direct OTT release.
Vikram and Dhruv Vikram starrer Mahaan directed by Karthik Subbaraj going for direct OTT release made few exhibitors question Tamil producers about releasing even big star hero films on OTT directly.
Hence, Suresh took to Twitter and expressed his unhappiness about exhibitors actions and then he explained that producers should be knowing what is happening to their product and keeping them in dark will force them to take drastic steps.
