Actor R. Madhavan who is now making his debut as a director with the film âRocketry: The Nambi Effectâ, biopic of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the ISRO, who was falsely accused of espionage in 1994. Madhavan plays the titular role in the film, which is slated to release on July 1. The moviemakers are promoting the film in full swing.
During the film's promotion, actor and director Madhavan revealed some intriguing details about the project. 'I met Nambi Narayanan sir around 2016-2017 in Trivendrum,' Madhavan explained. When I asked him about his story, his eyes blazed with rage. After hearing Nambi sir's story, I became emotional and wanted to share it with the rest of the world. 'I felt like he was James Bond, and everyone needed to know hi story.'
Rocketry had its world premiere recently at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where it received a standing ovation from the audience. The film was shot simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and English and will also be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya appear in cameos in different versions of the film.
