Days after TV5 News Presenter dared to call the Actresses as 'whores', Movie Artiste Association organized a press meet to issue a stern warning to media. Several Celebs lashed out at the media for sensationalizing the issues for TRPs rather than educating public by practicing Journalism Ethics. Rakul Preet Singh was one of the speakers who felt bad about media projecting that Actresses can't bag offers unless they share bed with someone. She claimed to have never come across any such harassment in the Telugu Film Industry.
Madhavi Latha slammed Rakul Preet Singh for saying there is no casting couch in Tollywood. She accused the Top League Actress of denying the facts just out of fear of losing offers. 'Instead of saying there is nothing like casting couch in the Industry, Rakul could have offered suggestions on how one can avoid falling prey to such traps,' she opined, apart from stressing how Hollywood Actresses and Models have collectively exposed the sexual harassment they faced from Harvey Weinstein.
