There is no need to explain about the popularity Sivagami character has received with the success of 'Baahubali'. As as queen mother of Baahubali and Bhallaladeva, Sivagami became a popular name in India. This character is coming on to the small screen now.
Yesteryear heroine Madhoobala has been finalized for Sivagami role in 'Aarambh' serial which is to be aired on Star Plus channel soon. 'Baahubali' writer Vijayendra Prasad provided story for this serial. Heroine Karthika(Yesteryear heroine Radha daughter) is playing the role of Devasena in this serial. The promos of this serial are getting superb buzz already.
Madhoobala rarely appearing in the films these days. She has appeared in character roles in 'Surya Vs Surya'.. 'Nannaku Prematho' recently. Madhoobala said that she is scared of never ending TV show schedules... but this serial is not like regular serials.. that's why she accepted the offer. She said that director Goldie Behl is another reason for accepting the offer. His wife Sonali Bendre is close friend of Madhoobala. We have to wait and see how she is going to impress the audience with powerful Sivagami role.
