'Roja' as Sivagami!

Don't take this title wrong. We are not saying, MLA and anchor, Roja is playing Sivagami here. There is a 90's actress who is popularised as Roja as well. Madhubala with the movie became popular in other languages as well. Now, the actress is playing mother characters for young actors.
She acted as mother for Nikhil Siddhartha in Surya vs Surya, Rakul Preet Singh in Nannaku Prematho. She is now getting ready to play Sivagami for Television. In Baahubali movie, Ramyakrishnan immortalised the role of Sivagami and for a Hindi serial named, Aarambh, with Devasena as lead, Madhubala is playing Sivagami. Even to play the role of Devasena they selected South beauty Karthika Nair and even for Sivagami they selected another South Indian actress.
Few photos of her in the get up of Sivagami have surfaced on the internet and her fans are feeling nostalgic thinking about her early days. They are saying she still looks highly beautiful. As she is unable to get lead roles anymore in films, her fans are hoping to see her as a lead in serials at least.
