After facing rejections from the likes of Ravi Teja, and Naga Chaitanya, young filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi bought Sharwanand and Siddharth on board for Maha Samudram. He pinned high hopes on the project and said it would catapult him to the big league.
However, Maha Samudram turned out to be a disaster at the box office. The film couldn't even recover half of the investments.
Now, Ajay has an interesting message about Maha Samudram. "Sorry for not reaching your expectations... Next time I will be back with a story that can satisfy you all." Ajay wrote on social media a short while ago.
